Technology Blog #6

 For one of my other classes, I've been researching and reading into Osama bin Laden and all the rhetoric he was talking before 9/11 was even a thought. He had multiple interviews and public speaking opportunities talking about the United States being the enemy of Islam. Osama bin Laden was in the Taliband which was funded by the CIA and later al-Qaeda broke off from the Taliband. So in a way the CIA funded Osama bin laden which is crazy.  But the more interesting part was the 9/11 commission report that was released a few years after 9/11. It was an official investigation of 9/11 and had many different reports and investigations all baked into one.  It was just interesting to see what the gold standard was for federal investigations, I may never see one like the 9/11 commission report.  Especially with it being back in the day of 2001-2003, it must've took a lot of manpower and time to compile all the evidence and searching data archives for Osama bin Laden intervie...

  The 3 pieces of advice I would consider to be most impactful would be 1.“Manage your classroom fairly and firmly.” 2. “Find a mentor.” 3.” Make a personal connection with your students.” For the first tip, I struggle to be a disciplinarian type of person, I prefer to resolve issues through talk and compromise but I understand there’s a time and place where you cannot solve through only talk. In my third year as a paraprofessional, I have gotten better at being not a push-over with some of the kids and I feel in time, I will get better at not accepting disrespect if it’s ever doled out. The second tip, I am always trying to learn to be a better teacher. I treat my para job as mostly a job shadow and I always participate in teacher meetings or parent teacher conferences, just to get the experience and expectations in check. Getting a mentor would help a lot when I finally get my own classroom, I’m the one who usually is the mentor so it would be a nice change of pace. Third tip, I ...
